In Sweden we have snowmobile roads official, water ways are hacked. I oay sek 500 per year to local guys who take care of it. Bit rivers are tricky and often we rise off-road

This picture brings so much joy to my heart. One of my most anticipated releases of the year, and that's saying quite a bit considering all the music I'm expecting to be fantastic this year.
EDIT: First review in the English language. Only further grounds my expectations for this album.
I'll need to listen to it again, but I was a little disappointed that there were SO many similarities to Funeralium's new album. I know the front man is the same for both bands, but still...the two albums sounded extremely similar. That isn't to say both aren't good albums, it's just they blend together.

Not only the vocalist is the same Plus in Ataraxie he plays bass and in Funeralium he plays guitar.
And Fred also plays guitar in both bands and is the main music composer for both bands.

Yeah I noticed that too. I just found Ataraxie's first two albums were quite a bit different from Funeralium's debut. But these two sound quite similar. They both came out in the same year, so it's possible they were working on them both at the same time.
And Pad, his vocals are great. When he does his "wailing" or shrills, he sounds like he's been tortured.

Funeralium's album came out this year but was actually already finished last year

Majestic art is here ! edit : I think made a stupid comment or actually sentence. I meant Ataraxie has presented majestic art within its music in this album.

Then why not just remove the "stupid comment" when you edit the message?
Anyway, I'm definitely liking this stuff. Totally massive album though, so it needs a few spins before I'll have my verdict on it.
That too, but I found him calling it pretentious the most hilarious of the stuff he mentioned about it.
And if he means the band members are pretentious, he really doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. All four are the least pretentious guys I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and befriending.

I think he talking rather about music, although I remember that someone once used the term "pretentious" because the vocalist had "too" neat, trimmed, uncombed hair. It was in some article devoted to Abigail Williams' music.. I don't remember exactly. Anyway I hope that in this case the reason is more sensible.
( * You have great friends Marcel, I really envy you )
I haven't listened to Ataraxie in a while admittedly, but I never associated them with pretentiousness (not that pretentiousness is inherently bad). :/

"Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something."
And what about "plastic crap"? This term makes me think rather about bleached hair, pre-glued nails and silicone tits (personally I have nothing against silicone tits, but the association suggests itself). But I can't understand what this has to do with Ataraxie?

Indeed, I love "pretentious" bands. Blut aus Nord, Sunn O))), Igorrr etc. Ataraxie are about as unpretentious as it gets really.

that word (The P word!) is too often smudged by the persons saying it sensibilities or lack thereof.
Perhaps I used too many negative words, but the point is that the music, the music, sounds as if they're trying to create some dark and bleak atmosphere, which miserably fails; only a bunch of yawns is what they reach while pursuing it. So, it's the certain atmosphere the band can't reach, yet they over and over again try to reach it. Pursuing something without having a clear vision how to do it creates a pretentious and in a way emotionally plastic atmosphere as well. They're good with certain riffs and more basic structures.
Yet you gave a 7 to the new Wine From Tears album, which is in my opinion incredibly inferior to this album. To get into the death doom genre however, it's understandable one would prefer Wine From Tears to this because it's so much more accessible and easy to get into.
The only issue I have with this album is that it's too long. Aside from that it's truly great funeral/death doom, this stuff. Right now I'm still unsure what to rate this though... needs a couple more spins.
