Biography
Exsickator formed in late 2007 when guitarist/vocalist Viktor Bergvall wanted to create a project where he could write any kind of music he wanted, whatever the genre was. Naturally the style became a mix of Viktors influences, a sort of progressive black/death metal with alot of film and video game music elements.
About two years later, in mid 2009, the first demo was recorded in Viktors home studio. It's called "Prepare for War" and contains 3 tracks, about 20 minutes of material.
During this year the writing for the first album had also begun. This album was recorded during the first quarter of 2010 in Viktors home studio aswell, it's called "Beyond This World", and will be released in april of 2010. This album contains 7 tracks, with a total of 52 minutes of pure metal madness.
As of 11th of april 2010, Exsickator is officially a band instead of a solo project, with the intent of being able to play the new material live. I welcome Alexander "Baron von Sadist" Teklemariam (Divine) on bass guitar/backup vocals, and Rasmus Eklund on drums.
