Biography

The story of KELLER begins in 2008. First speeding songs quickly took shape, and the band recorded highly acclaimed "Awake The Forgotten" demo, which fell into hands of hundreds of thrashers around the globe, engaging in an unexpected newborn revival era of European thrash. Although just formed, Keller performed cca. 20 gigs in the year of it's inception. 2009 saw the band already playing all Slovenian major festivals (MC, POA, MK etc) with Destruction, Kreator, Sodom, Onslaught, Atheist, Necronomicon, Candlemass etc.

Although just formed, the band immediately gained respect because of it's unmerciful, brutal live performances and on-stage attittude.
Keller, in year of it's formation, played numerous shows across Slovenia (over 20), and all it's festivals already next year (Metalcamp, Paranoid Open Air, Haliaetum, Metal Kramp etc).

Great concerts, quality reviews and ever supporting metalhead's word of mouth unexpectedly attracted the attention of Canada's own metal start-up, NHR Records, which signed the Keller with a multi-record deal in 2009 and immediately put them to work on their first album. After a few line-up changes, Keller, in a matter of weeks, recorded the debut album, entitled Spreading Evil.

NHR Records released it worldwide (Canada, USA, Asia) in late 2010 and since unleashing the beast, the reviews had been nothing but positive and ever growing.
It was (and still is) an unmerciful debut, it's crude thrashing sound quickly spread across the media and had the underground metal world a-buzzing with excitement immediately.

Unfortunately, shortly after the debut album, Spreading Evil, was finally released in Slovenia (2011), Etien - one of the founding members of the band - decided to leave Keller behind and start a Heavy metal project. But there's nothing to worry...
The Keller stays unbreakable, new soldiers have already been engaged.

New metal creations are getting in complete shape, the newest material is faster, more brutal, rougher, more speedy, technical and more thrashing than ever.
Defenitly different, yet still carrying traditional Keller trademarks, as probably everyone expected.
Reborn, standing on the altar of sacrifice, back from the dead and ready to attack.

Beware, the Keller is here to destroy!
