I don't know I always had the impression that Hardcore Metal was music for big guys with muscles, frat boys, college macho dudes and neo-nazis, maybe is the anger in the singing? Maybe are the hate-driven lyrics? I really don't know, but I never liked this genre a lot, if you know what I'm mean, and that's not because I'm a skinny guy, I don't go to college and I'm no macho? is because I just don't like this kind of music, is not my cup of tea.

But as a good reviewer that I am (really?) I have to give an impartial point of view about this band, but since my opinion is short and concise, let's use the little "trick" that reviewers use when they don't have all that much to say about the music of a band, but they're afraid the review looks too small: let's do some Bio. My inspiration, the almighty info sheet.

BUF was formed in 1997 in Greenburg, outside of Pittsburgh, combining Metal and hardcore the band made it to be one of the top bands in Pittsburgh's Hardcore Scene. The and signed with Da' Core Records, and recorded their debut full-length "Low Life Crew".
A couple of years later , the band broke up, and in 2002 they reformed again.

The music itself is very hate-driven, the vocals are screamed and the layers of voices contribute to the aggressive sound that the entire record have, I have to admit that some songs just make you wanna break something right away, or hit someone, especially the first 3 tracks, just pure anger.

After the 3 tracks I found myself unable to listen to the whole record, despite the short length. Maybe this is why I don't like this music, is not very original nor technical, and I tends to get boring some times? some songs are ok, but for eventual listens , I have better things to listen. Don't get me wrong, if you like bands like Pro-Pain and Hatebreed you'll like this for sure.
