Metal Storm has plenty of obscure and hard to notice features, some of which, nonetheless, can be quite useful. Here we tried to highlight some of them:
Shortcuts
You can add any page of the site to your shortcuts - which will display on top of the navigation panel. Of course, you have to be logged in for that.
You can use shortcuts to simplify access to certain pages, publications or even to mark one you haven't finished reading.
To remove a shortcut, click on the 'x' next to it.

Album rating details
You can click on album rating to get detailed information about it, including the list of voters and their ratings. The page also shows how many people (and who exactly) have the album in their collection, wishlist or tradelist.
Wherever you see album rating, it should be clickable - in discography, album info, new/upcoming releases, top 100 albums, random album and so on...

Print pages
|
You can print pages more conveniently by using the Print button. It's also useful when you want to save a page on your computer.

Edit PM in the Outbox
|
Even after you click 'Send', you can still edit your outgoing PMs in the Outbox - but only until the recipient opens them.
|
|
See who has visited a topic
For each forum topic you can see how many users have visited it, and even who exactly and when (if you click on the number). Only the last visit is recorded.
This can also be used to estimate how many people have read your publication - assuming that someone has commented it early on.
