Allegaeon - Present 'Inhumation Single; Vocalist Ezra Haynes Returns
Allegaeon are pleased to announce the return of vocalist Ezra Haynes as a permanent member and concurrently release a brand new song, "Inhumation." Ezra was the original recording vocalist for Allegaeon between 2008-2015 and recorded debut EP and first three full length albums. "Inhumation" marks Ezra's first recording with Allegaeon since 2014's Elements Of The Infinite.
Greg Burgess states: "It's been a complete blast having Ezra’s creative and positive energy back in the band. We share so much history together; it feels like having one of your best friends back after a long absence. His creativeness and charisma have been missed by many, and it feels like we picked up right where we left off. Am I 10 years younger now? Is this how magic works?"
Ezra had this to say of "Inhumation": "We wanted to do a callback to the first album when we signed to Metal Blade Records, 2010's Fragments Of Form And Function. For the second song on that, "The Renewal," I built a layered vocal section that I thought was really neat then. I wanted to somehow incorporate something similar, but bigger and evolved, int "Inhumation", considering the song is so damn massive. It’s without a doubt the most aggressive thing I’ve ever written. Also, now that Allegaeon is a group with three gents on vocals, I wanted to take advantage of that as well as showcase Michael’s insane vocal talent."
