Liafev is correct. Hence the US Chips Act. Shift away from the relianceon TW and they don't have to worry about those chips. Then it will just be sanctions on China.
In the case of Taiwan, I also think they might get involved, unless we managed to create alternative production hubs for the chips. And that if the chips are not a topic amymore, the US would just watch and say they feel sorry.
But I tend to agree with @Cynic's comment in that the US seem to get involved in conflicts when it benefits them more than when it benefits the greater good.
Let me introduce this awesome so called "post-black" outfit from Lithuania. Judging by this two tracks, released thus far, the Witching Hour Productions make a great deal. A bright future ahead of them!
There's actually a lot of post-black in this, but without turning into yet another Drudkh clone. The sound is very deep and heavy, the vocals very harsh. There is a progressive element, but compositions are pretty simplistic. Still, there is enough variance within each track to carry the song lengths. I like how songs will start off with a really dark tone and then evolve into something more melodic over time as on track II. In fact, each track seems to up the ante from the previous one. Plenty of crunchy bass in the mix, production is pretty clean but retains some edge. Guitar work is strong with the occasional hooky riff to break up the rapidly strummed chords. Overall, an impressive debut. Only $4.95 on bandcamp. I will be coming back to this one for a few listens to be sure, but I see no reason not to throw them a few bucks. The physical cd is only like $7.95 USD plus shipping. Not bad. Full review here.
