Gyze - New Video Online

To promote the Japanese release of their debut album Fascinating Violence on September 3rd via Victor Entertainment, Japanese extreme power metallers Gyze have released a video for the song "Desire". The album was originally released in June 2013 by Italian label Coroner Records. The video can be watched below.

Necrophagia - New Song Available Online

With just two months to go until the release of their seventh album Whiteworm Cathedral, American death metal veterans Necrophagia have recently made a new track from the album available for streaming. A musical homage to 1973 horror classic The Exorcist, "Fear The Priest" features Sigh's frontman Mirai Kawashima on keyboards, after a six-year absence. You can listen to the song below.

Destrose - Unveil New EP Cover

All-woman heavy metallers Destrose have revealed the cover for their forthcoming EP - or "mini album" - The Prologue. Due out on September 24th, it'll be their first release to feature new vocalist Lisa, who replaced Marina Hebiishi back in June.

Sigh - Confirmed For Metal Magic Festival 2015

Good news for Sigh's European fans. Japan's leading purveyors of saxophone-infused black metal have joined the lineup for the 2015 edition of Denmark's Metal Magic Festival. This will mark the first time Mirai Kawashima and company will perform on Danish soil.

Skinflint - To Release New Album, New Song Online

Two years on from their previous offering Dipoko, Botswanan heavy metallers Skinflint have announced that their fourth studio effort will be arriving this coming September. Entitled Nyemba, the album's songs are inspired by the origins of African black magic. You can see Nyemba's cover art and tracklist below as well as hear the new song "Veya."

Desecravity - New Album Title, Cover Art Unveiled

Eight months on from the original announcement of the follow-up to their 2011 debut Implicit Obedience, Japanese extreme metallers Desecravity have emerged from their Tokyo lair with an update on their second studio effort. X Japan - To Play Madison Square Garden In October

Dir En Grey - Release New DVD, Announce New Album

Visual-kei survivors Dir En Grey resurfaced last week with a new live DVD and Blu-ray, Dum Spiro Spero At Nippon Budokan. Filmed over two nights back in March, the double-disc set contains both concerts in full. The limited edition also boasts assorted extras and behind-the-scenes footage, plus a bonus CD featuring alternate versions of most songs from 2011's Dum Spiro Spero.

Three years down the line from their last studio album, Japanese heavy metallers Onmyo-Za have announced they'll be releasing two new albums this coming autumn. 風神界逅 (Fuujin Kaikou) and 雷神創世 (Raijin Sousei) will be the band's eleventh and twelfth albums respectively. No release date has yet been set, but it has been confirmed the albums will be released simultaneously, and the recent single 青天の三日月 (Seiten No Mikazuki) will be included on Raijin Sousei.
