Q5 - 'Steel The Light' To Be Reissued

Good news for Q5 fans, because the band's Steel The Light debut album is set to be reissued by No Remorse Records. Q5 is a Seattle, Washington, based band formed in 1983 and their music is a blend of hard rock, melodic and straight-forward heavy metal. Steel The Light, originally released in 1984, is one of the classic U.S. metal albums of the 80s.

Ildra - Debut Album To Be Reissued

Ildra is a mysterious Pagan black metal act from the U.K., their line-up is unknown and there is very little information about them but their label Heidens Hart has announced that their debut album, Eðelland, will be reissued on CD at the end of March.

Samson - Announce Reissues, Previously Unreleased Album

British NWOBHM Samson just announced that band will re-release some of their albums. The next in the series of Samson reissues from HNE via Cherry Red on 27th April 2018 will be a 3 disc boxed set featuring Refugee, P.S.... and a previously unreleased album from 1989, Look To The Future.

Vindland - EP And Demo Reissued

French black metal forgotten sons Vindland just announced the reissue of their 2007 demo and the Ancestors' Age EP. The Ancestors' Age MCD and the 2007 "Demo" have been remastered and are now available in a new digipack released by GS Productions. The CD is masterglass pressed.

Atheist - Sign With Agonia Records

American, legendary, technical, metal pioneers Atheist have signed a worldwide record deal with the European based label, Agonia Records. The band is expected to release a new studio album, the follow-up to 2010's critically acclaimed Jupiter, in mid to late 2018.

Enslaved - To Reissue Hordanes Land, First Turkish Show Announced

The Norwegian Viking metallers Enslaved just announced their first ever show in Turkey. It will happen in Istanbul on April 4th at Zorlu Performans Sanatları Merkezi. In other news, the band has also confirmed the reissue of their debut EP, 1993's Hordanes Land on ByNorse Music, Ivar Bjørnson Peersen's own label. The CD and digital will be released on March 2nd and the LPs on April 20th.

Pantheist - Record New Music, Update On New Album

Funeral doomsters Pantheïst have updated fans on what they have been up to. It seems like the band is working on new music again. In fact, the recordings are practically complete for their 5th studio album, to follow 2011's Pantheist. The band has been sharing clips and photos from the studio on their Facebook page. After 6-7 years with endless line-up changes and three different versions of the fifth Pantheïst album, it now looks as though they are finally on track again.

Celtic Frost - Fischer Does Not Endorse New Reissues

Celtic Frost leader Thomas Gabriel Fischer has denounced BMG's recently announced plans to reissue the band's seminal Noise Records catalogue on June 30th. The reissues include four of the band's Noise-era studio albums: Morbid Tales, To Mega Therion, Into The Pandemonium and Vanity/Nemesis. The albums will be reissued on deluxe hardback CD and 180-gram double album sets, complete with posters and 10-inch spine bound book. All tracks have been fully remastered and releases contain previously unreleased and rare tracks.

Iron Maiden - Announce Next Series Of Album Vinyl Reissues

Iron Maiden have announced that, following 2014's reissue of their first eight albums, Parlophone Records will release twelve brand new pressings of albums from the period 1990-2015 in heavyweight 180g black vinyl. Along with their eight studio albums released in these 25 years, a specially selected choice of four live recordings from this era will be included. As far as the studio recordings are concerned, it has been made known that the audio on these releases has been cut from the high resolution remasters of 2015 when the band's catalogue was digitally upgraded and that they will be packaged in identical artwork to the initial vinyl releases.
