Sepultura - Police Stop Band's Show In Egypt
This weekend was eventful in terms of cancellations (Rock am Ring, Tbilisi Jam Fest) and Sepultura fans in Egypt also suffered. According to Ahram Online, Police forces stopped their show that was planned for Saturday 4th of June in Sheikh Zayed. General Ahmed Hegazy, head of the Giza Security Directorate, told them that police forces stormed into the villa and physically stopped the concert after necessary permissions for the show were not provided. This would be their first performance in Egypt.

Kreator - Announce New Album And Tour With Sepultura, Soilwork

Sepultura - 30th Anniversary North American Tour
Sepultura are celebrating their 30th anniversary with a tour in North America in May and June. The thrash legends released their first music 30 years ago in 1985, Bestial Devastation. Bassist Paulo Jr. remains the only original member in the band but there is also guitarist Andreas Kisser, who is in the band since 1987. Now they can't wait to travel in time through their history with their fans in the U.S. and Canada. Sepultura will join forces with the mighty Destruction and Arsis, as well as Boris The Blade, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, Micawber, and Starkill as rotating openers. Sepultura - Max Cavalera Dismisses Reunion
Original Sepultura drummer Igor Cavalera, now in Cavalera Conspiracy with his brother Max Cavalera, recently opened the door to a reunion of the classic Sepultura line-up. The topic never really goes away and Igor said in an interview that he hoped that the reunion would happen someday. Now former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera has responded and tells that a classic lineup reunion won't take place and he's happy to leave it in the past.

Sepultura - Debut Video
Sepultura set out to push some buttons with their new video for the new track "The Vatican". This song appears on their newest release The Mediator Between The Head And Hands Must Be The Heart and today the thrash metal band premiered the video for it. Rafael Kent directed the video for Okent Films and you can watch it here. Guitarist Andreas Kisser has described the song "The Vatican" as "one of the tracks that has some death metal influences, whose lyrics tell the story of how the Vatican was created, filled with blood, orgy, murders, corruption, adultery... it's one of the most evil and perverse lyrics I ever wrote."
