Kaamos 7.8 In their career thus far, As The Sun Falls have written melodeath that firmly conforms to the established trends in the Finnish scene. With Kaamos, that very much remains the case, but it’s a damn enjoyable rendition of a familiar sound.

I enjoy when unusual yet irrelevant patterns occur in the release schedule. One such instance was when two melodeath bands with names centered around the descent of a particular celestial body both released debut albums in 2021: Fallensun and As The Sun Falls.
